Celebrate Button Play Week: 13-19 November
Hello. I hope you’ll welcome this surprise note about buttons, play, wonder, delight, and how you can join the fun.
National Button Day is Wednesday 16 November.
Nich and I (creators of IN A BUTTON) think we should celebrate buttons for more than one day, so… we’re highlighting buttons this entire week, starting TODAY!
Would you like to join the play?
We invite you to find your buttons, gather your friends (children, students, neighbors), and let yourself be prompted to explore buttons each day this week.
We’ll share a daily play prompt on our Instagram Stories (@noticingmatters | @nich_sees).
If you don’t use Instagram, no worries. I’ve made a pdf of all of the prompts we’ll share (and included five extra prompts, too). You may download, print, cut apart, or use in a way that best suits you. Feel free to share this post (and the pdf) with others.
Each prompt is designed for all ages, for any length of play time (5 minutes or many hours), and invites a creative opening for slow, mindful, curious, and imaginative exploration.
